1. Erectile Dysfunction
Yohimbine has been shown in several trials to help treat men with mild to moderate (rather than severe) erectile dysfunction. Yohimbine can increase blood flow and nerve impulses to the penis.
Recommended Dosage —— A mean dose of 0.4 mg/kg body weight or 30 mg daily, and a maximum of 50 mg, has been used in erectile dysfunction studies.
2. Obesity
Taking yohimbine along with a weight-loss diet can help people lost weight. The ability of yohimbine to stimulate the nervous system, and to promote the release of fat from fat cells, has led to claims that it might help weight loss by raising metabolic rate, reducing appetite, or increase fat burning.
Recommended Dosage —— 5 mg of yohimbine four times per day
3. Syncope/Orthostatic Hypotension
Orthostatic hypotension is a benign condition where, upon standing, lightheadedness results due to a temporarily reduced cerebral blood pressure. Yohimbine appears to be capable of enhancing sympathetic tone due to its ability to increase blood pressure.
Recommended Dosage —— 5 mg of yohimbine per day
