Xanthohumol (XN for short) is the main flavonoid in hops. It is found in hops, and its content is about 0.1% to 1% of the dry weight of hops. It's slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol. Hops are the flowers of the hop plant Humulus lupulus L. The hop plant is a perennial climbing herb that can grow up to 10 meters. The female inflorescence is used to brew beer, which can kill the lactic acid bacteria and butyric acid bacteria produced during the brewing process to prevent the beer from spoiling; and the tannin contained therein can prevent the beer from being turbid. 1. Anti-cancer
Xanthohumol can prevent cancer. It's some inducing enzyme play a role in the process of procarcinogen to carcinogen.
